Round dabs, quick, tapered gestural strokes, and thin, short, detail lines depicting several small birds in flight against a backdrop of slender curves and dots evoking dense foliage. Painted with the artist's fingers and possibly brushes, in shades of orange, green, blue, brown, and black. Parts of the paper seem to have produced a wax resist effect.
