Loose gestural brushstrokes of varying line weights forming a semi-abstract self-portrait in vivid hues of red, orange, and blue-grey, with relatively naturalistic proportions. Possibly depicting the artist in the process of painting a self-portrait based on his reflection in an elliptical mirror. With wide grid lines and raised ridges from crumpled paper laid over the wet paint.
