Description
-
A simplified image of a turtle pictured from above and outlined with translucent, blue brushstrokes. Painted within a rectangle on the turtle's back are components of the sinographs "圣" (shèng, meaning "sacred" or "sage") and "经" (jīng, meaning "scripture"); the characters are combined in 合文 (hé wén), a pre-Han form of ligation. The following lines are inscribed at the top left corner of the composition:
Dhamma is not in the books
Dhamma is in us
คัมภีร์นั้นไม่ใช่ธรรมะ
ธรรมะนั้นอยู่ที่ตัว
