This all-over, abstract, gestural painting consists of thick, heavy handfuls of a viscous black paint heaped, slathered, smeared, and shaped upon a still-wet, white background as if it were a sculptural medium, in a series of seemingly haphazard, overlapping strokes. With deep, parallel grooves etched into the impasto surface, the work bears witness to the artist's vigorous, gestural movements.

Discolouration; white paint appears a pale brownish yellow. Serious craquelure. Large chunks of paint have peeled and flaked off the surface, revealing a pale green base layer hidden beneath the black and white paint. Handle with care. Serious buckling and sagging. Dust and dirt. Lizard droppings. Insect droppings (tiny whitish spots).
