Description

This photorealistic portrait depicts an elderly man posing in three-quarter profile as he takes a puff of a cigarette held between two fingers. The man wears a simple shirt with Chinse buttons. His wrinkles are rendered in meticulous detail so as to demonstrate the artist's skill. The drawing was likely based on a photograph by the Chinese photographer Francis Wu.
