Description
-
A semi-realistic, close-up, three-quarter profile self-portrait blocked out and hatched with bold, broken strokes of black paint applied using the artist's fingers. These strokes surround the artist's face, filling the entire composition, so that the image borders on abstraction, dissolving into an all-over composition when viewed up close.
