Handfuls of sticky, viscous white paint are plastered and smeared over a light-coloured background using the artist's hands, creating notches, parallel grooves, and short, impasto strokes. The background consists of a layer of white paint glazed over a blue-tinged or black base layer, adding depth a seemingly flat image.

Paint peeling and flaking off the canvas, especially along the right edge. Tears at the top right corner. Holes where the canvas was nailed into the frame. Brown liquid stains sustained when the canvas was flipped onto its left side. Discolouration; white paint has turned yellowish brown.
