This abstract, gestural painting consists of a backdrop covered in cursorily blended, vivid colours applied alla prima, over which spontaneous, zigzagging, seemingly haphazard impasto brushstrokes have been layered. A glow seems to emanate from the centre of the image.

Craquelure. A tear along the top edge. Scratches and abrasions along the edges of the frame (likely due to being stacked together with other works). Insect and lizard droppings; see white stain near bottom edge. Nails used to secure the canvas to the stretcher have rusted. Piece of wood stuck to the right side of the canvas.
