This abstract, gestural painting consists of viscous swathes of red and black paint daubed and smeared over a white backdrop, possibly using the artist's hands and body. Touches of blue are mixed into the black paint, which is gathered atop what appears to be a diagonal axis, evoking perspective lines and imbuing the image with the sense of a landscape.

Discolouration; white paint has turned a yellowish brown. Small tears at the top right, bottom left, and bottom right corners. Holes along the edges where the canvas was nailed into the stretcher; new staples have been applied. Tears along the edges. Numerous small holes in the canvas have been patched up on the reverse. Craquelure. Paint flaking off. Dust and dirt. Insect droppings.
