In this dreamlike, semi-abstract landscape painting, wavy, impasto brushstrokes are layered over vivid, unnaturalistic colours loosely blended using the wet-on-wet technique, creating nebulous, shadowy forms resembling buildings. Painted using a limited colour palette consisting of red, blue, black, and white. Some strokes may have been painted using the artist's fingers.

The original canvas has been remounted onto a new sheet of canvas fabric and stretched over a new frame. A rectangular window has been cut out of the new canvas so that the inscriptions on the original canvas remain visible. Holes along the edges of the canvas, where it was previously nailed into the stretcher. Tears along the top, right, and bottom edges. Craquelure. Canvas appears to have been cleaned.
