A view of a house depicted in two-point perspective, in an abstract, expressive style characterised by the use of quick, gestural strokes and the wet-on-wet technique, resulting in uneven, blurry fields of colour marked by a sense of indeterminacy. Painted in red, blue, yellow, green, and white, the house appears backlit, surrounded by a faint glow. The date and artist's signature are scratched into the image (sgraffito), along with the words "overcrowded slum" (ชุมชนแออัด). Parts of the work may have been painted using the artist's fingers.

The image is dotted with small, brown oil spots. Craquelure. Dust and dirt. Some brown stains near the right side of the canvas. Dirt and insect droppings (see top left corner).
