Description
-
With loose broken, unblended brushstrokes and colourful, translucent smears of paint layered over one another, adding vibrancy to the colour palette in a technique akin to glazing, this semi-abstract, gestural landscape painting depicts a red house nestled amidst flourishing plants. A palm tree rises on the high horizon and columns of thin, calligraphic brushstrokes are layered over the sky. In red, yellow, blue, green, and black. Possibly painted using a combination of brushes and the artist's fingers.
