Broad streaks of dilute black paint are applied repetitively along the same trajectories of motion using a large brush and, possibly, the artist's hands, forming a calligraphic symbol which resembles the Chinese "不" and possibly represents the artist's characteristic facial features. Against the white background, dramatic splatters bear witness to the force and vigour of the artist's painterly process.
