This semi-abstract landscape painting depicts a path or road leading through clusters of trees and bushes. In the distance, obscured by plants and a fence, are the contours of a house. With broad strokes of red, orange, blue, yellow, green, and white left unblended, the artist juxtaposes contrasting colours, allowing them to combine via the technique of optical mixing.

Discolouration; the entire image seems to be cast in an orange hue. Some faint white stains at the top left and top right corners. Dust and dirt. The canvas has been remounted and stapled onto a new stretcher; on the reverse are some holes where it was formerly nailed into the stretcher. In good condition overall.
