Description
-
This abstract, gestural composition consists of thick, black paint applied directly to and smeared across a white background using the artist's hands and brushes, creating a chaotic mass of sweeping, intersecting strokes, curves, and daubs. Etched into the impasto surface are forceful, parallel, finger-strokes. Chunks of coagulated paint add a sculptural character to the work.
