With swathes of dark, desaturated paint applied using the wet-on-wet technique, this semi-abstract landscape painting depicts fenced houses and trees along a street. Vertical strokes represent the architectural structures while swirling daubs of paint indicate trees in the background. Painted primarily in shades of blue and black, with touches of red and yellow, the image takes on a shadowy, indeterminate character.

Foxing. Creases along the bottom right edge. Multiple tears along the bottom edge. Discolouration along the edges (likely due to being framed). Grazing. A small tear along the top edge. Slight buckling. Tape marks on the reverse. Stains on the reverse due to the medium used seeping through the paper.
