Wat Phichai Yat, a temple in Bangkok, depicted from the point of view of a subject in the courtyard, in a realistic style marked by the use of linear perspective and naturalistic colours. Two golden Buddha statues stand in front of a blue door.

Signed in Thai and Chinese at the bottom right corner of the work. Titled "วัดพิชยญาติ ธนบุรี", signed, and dated "11.4 1956" on the reverse. Titled "越景寫真", signed "壮作", and dated "一九五六年四月十一日" on the reverse. "Practice work" (習作) written on the reverse.
