Monochrome large, black gestural strokes painted with the artist’s body, with areas where the paint appears to have been dragged or scratched off with fingers. Three similarly sized pieces of fabric have been joined together vertically to form this canvas.

Condition

Paint cracks, especially in areas where the paint has been applied thickly. Vertical tear towards bottom right corner measuring approximately 25 cm. Horizontal cracks towards the left edge of the painting. Small holes at the back of the canvas, near the centre. White oil spots visible through the back of the canvas.
