Description

Rows, columns, and clusters of idiosyncratic, gestural scribbles, some of which resemble Chinese calligraphic inscriptions. At the centre of the composition is a dense conglomeration of brief curves and short, broken marks. Mounted on patterned paper, in the manner of a Chinese scroll. The accompanying poem reads:
ในเมล็ดข้าวสุก
มีพระคุณของฟ้าดินอยู่ในนั้น
ในเมล็ดข้าวสุก
มีพระคุณของชาวนาอยู่ในนั้น
ในเมล็ดข้าวสุก
มีพระคุณของพ่อแม่อยู่ในนั้น
ในเมล็ดข้าวสุก
มีหยาดเหงื่อแรงงานของพ่อแม่อยู่ในนั้น
ในเมล็ดข้าวสุก
มีความรักความห่วงใยของพ่อแม่อยู่ในนั้น

Foxing. Insect damage along the bottom edge. Creases at the top right corner. Insect damage at the top left corner and along the bottom edge. Small tears along the bottom right edge.
