A simplified silhouette of a human head and neck delineated by repeated instances of the word "human" (คน). Inscribed over the upper half of the person's head are neologisms coined by the artist, namely "khanthiparamat" (ขันทิปรมัตถ์) [ขันติปรมัตถ์] and "upakhantitham" (อุปขันติธรรม). "Khanti" refers to the virtue of patience, "khantitham" refers to the dharma concerning patience, the suffix "-paramat" typically refers to the highest good, and the prefix "upa-" indicates superiority.
