Rows of the name "Kukrit" (คึกฤทธิ์) in the form of a simplified silhouette symbolising the palm-leaf manuscript box, the stacked offering bowls, and the round turret at the centre of the Democracy Monument. Inscribed below the image is the phrase "dissolve the parliament" (ยุบสภา). The name refers to Kukrit Pramoj, who was the prime minister of Thailand from 14 March 1975 to 20 April 1976.
