A semi-abstract, stylised painting depicting a variety of potted plants arranged along and upon the edge of a rectangular fish pond within the artist's house. The image was first sketched in long, sweeping, looping, gestural strokes using a ballpoint pen, before layers of vivid green, orange, yellow, blue, and black paint were applied in dry, textured, broken strokes.

Foxing. Small tear along the left edge. Slight crease at the top left corner. Creases at the top right corner and along the top and right edges. Some minor creases or traces of buckling within the work. Stains on the reverse due to the medium used seeping through the paper. Medium rubs off upon contact. In good condition.
