A semi-abstract landscape painting composed in layers, with thin, mostly straight, slender, dark-coloured, structural sketch lines forming buildings and a wall or fence along a street in one-point perspective. Large, dripping, watery splotches of paint have been daubed and slathered over the work, forming trees, creating a bleeding, wet-on-wet effect, and casting the image in ambiguity. Painted primarily in red and blue, with touches of black and brown.

Foxing. Slight creases at the corners. Relatively mild buckling along the left and right edges. Fingerprints along the top edge. Faint white marks on the reverse corresponding to the painted areas. In good condition.
