A loose, semi-abstract, gestural sketch of a faceless female figure seated in three-quarter profile with her hands resting on one knee. Broad, dilute, dripping streaks of colour have been painted over the portrait, filling the backdrop and giving the figure a sense of three-dimensionality. Painted in blue, green, orange, and red. Possibly a portrait of the artist's wife.
