A gestural, semi-abstract streetscape composed of broad sweeps of colour brushed quickly and vigorously over the entire work in mostly horizontal and diagonal strokes, forming an image of palm trees, a two-storey house, and a fence or foliage along a street in one-point perspective. Painted in shades of red, yellow, green, blue, and black, with dry brush textures and splatters towards the upper and lower edges of the work respectively.

Foxing. Slight creases at the corners and along the top and left edges. Tear along the bottom edge. A very small tear along the right edge. Grazing or abrasions at the top right corner. Insect stuck to the work near the left edge. Medium rubs off upon contact. Stains on the reverse due to the medium used seeping through the work.
