Potted plants outlined with a broad, blue brush in a simplified, graphic style, with columns of looping, gestural, calligraphic strokes superimposed over the image in brown and black. A resist effect has been applied to areas of the work, along with traces of green and orange in the background.

Foxing. Small tears along the top and bottom edges and at the bottom right corner. One of the tears along the top edge has been repaired. Creases at the corners. Minor traces of grazing along the right and near the centre. Brown stains on the reverse due to the medium used seeping through the paper.
