An abstract composition consisting of calligraphic strokes superimposed over ambiguous forms rendered in translucent, watery colours, creating a bleeding, wet-on-wet effect. Long, sweeping, intersecting, slender brushstrokes in the lower left quadrant of the composition convey a sense of three-dimensionality. In the upper left quadrant are clusters of gestural scribbles and brief, broken brush marks. Painted in shades of blue, black, brown, orange, and yellow.

Foxing. Relatively mild creases at the corners and along the edges. Tears along the top and bottom edges and at the bottom left corner. Stains on the reverse due to the medium used seeping through the paper.
