A loose, gestural pen sketch of a woman seated on the ground with her arms wrapped around a bent leg, with broad, blue brushstrokes composed along the contours of her lower body, and with chaotic, haphazard, zigzagging scribbles layered over the entire image in fluorescent yellow, yellow, and fluorescent pink. Green brushstrokes fill the background. The woman's facial features are cast in shadow. Possibly a portrait of the artist's wife.

Foxing. Curling along the top and bottom edges. Buckling, especially along the top edge. Creases at the corners and along the left and right edges. Light creases along the top and bottom edges. Rough top edge. Insect damage along the right edge and at the bottom left corner. Tide lines along the bottom edge. Discolouration on the reverse, along the bottom edge.
