A gestural landscape painting composed of thin, spontaneous, vigorous zigzags, scribbles, and curves layered over patchy, dilute daubs of paint and other improvisatory strokes in vivid, unnaturalistic colours, including fluorescent red, fluorescent orange, yellow, green, blue, and brown. The image depicts a house partially obscured by windswept trees, with a canal in the foreground, and a bridge to the left of the image.

Foxing. Creases at the corners and along the top and left edges. Small tears along the top edge, possibly from when the work was clipped to the artist's easel. A very, very small insect bite along the bottom edge. Stains on the reverse due to the medium used seeping through the paper. Medium rubs off upon contact.
