A semi-abstract painting of banana trees viewed up close and reduced to broken, sometimes translucent segments of colour painted using a broad, flat brush, forming a somewhat nebulous image without definite outlines. In green, fluorescent yellow, fluorescent orange, and black, with traces of fluorescent red blended into several vertical strokes.

Foxing. Slight creases at the corners and along the top edge. Creases and a tear along the left edge. Minor insect damage along the left edge. Abrasions due to the paper surface disintegrating while wet brushstrokes were applied. Faint stains on the reverse due to the medium used seeping through the paper.
