Banana trees viewed up close and reduced to broad, translucent, gestural strokes painted in an improvisatory fashion, evoking somewhat indistinct forms without outlines. Painted in fluorescent orange, green, and brown, with traces of fluorescent red.

Foxing. Light creases at the corners. A tear along the left edge which appears to have been fixed. Very mild grazing along the right edge. Slight creases along the bottom edge. Multiple small tears along the top left edge. Some stains on the reverse due to the medium used seeping through the paper.
