A simplified, semi-abstract image of banana trees viewed up close and reduced to broad, translucent brushstrokes, without outlines defining the leaves and branches. Painted in fluorescent red, fluorescent orange, fluorescent yellow, green, and black, possibly using a flat wall brush. The painting resembles 1983-0116-0-PL but is framed slightly differently.

Foxing. Creases at the corners and along the edges. Small tears along the left, right, and bottom edges. Abrasions due to the paper surface disintegrating while the brushstrokes were applied. Faint stains on the reverse due to the medium used seeping through the paper.
