Expressive, gestural brushstrokes freely scribbled all over the entire image in translucent layers, forming an indistinct image of a fenced, two-storey wooden house built along a path or a canal bordered by dense foliage and tall palm trees. Painted using a medium-sized brush, in shades of red, yellow, green, blue, and black.

Foxing. Creases at the corners and along the top, left, and right edges. A very small tear along the right edge. Craquelure and flaking along the bottom edge, near the left. Medium rubs off upon contact. Slight buckling. Brown stains on the reverse due to the medium used seeping through the paper.
