Description
-
A long-leaved, potted plant delineated in confident, clean felt-tip pen strokes, with a single leaf shaded in black, and several leaves patterned with short, broken pen marks. Segments of the image are filled in with flat areas of colour, while the background is gently gradated. The accompanying poem reads:
There is work to do in the house.
In the parents' house
There is work for children to do
Their wages are their parents' morals
