A quick, loose, red felt-tip pen sketch depicting the side profile of a bespectacled woman wearing her hair in a bun as she tends to a puppy, presumably to remove the fleas in its fur. Several strokes appear to have been scrawled over segments of the drawing, creating a sgraffito effect. To the left of the drawing is the following poem:
