Rows of the word "human" (คน) composed around an area of negative space, forming a silhouette of the Buddha's head and his elongated earlobes. Atop his ushnisha is a flame-shaped finial unique to iconographic representations of the Buddha in Thailand. Curvilinear strokes have been scratched over part of the image.
