A work divided into four parts, each consisting of a stylised self-portrait reduced to a schematic, and possibly logographic diagram representing the artist's defining facial features, such as his moustache and beard. The segments of each drawing are patterned with various motifs, including stick men, small loops, scribbles, curves, and brief, broken gestural strokes.

Foxing. Horizontal and vertical folds. A crease and tears along the folds. Long diagonal crease at the bottom left corner. Light creases at the top right and bottom right corners. Tiny hole at the centre of the work. Brown fingerprints. Tape on the reverse. Poetry printed on the reverse.
