A semi-abstract image of a long-leaved, potted plant composed of patchy pools of green paint, slender, finger-painted curves, and broad, sweeping strokes smeared over the smooth surface of the support using the artist's hands, leaving linear textures akin to those of real leaves. Interwoven into the negative spaces of the image are verses of a poem evoking the beauty of nature through sensory descriptions of sparrows, the wind, leaves, sunlight, and soft, white, fragrant flower petals.
